STATE-APPROVED CURRICULUM

Meets and exceeds 2024 California CCW training requirements (PC §26165).

SELF-PACED VIDEO LESSONS

Start, pause, and resume on any device. Progress is saved automatically.

LIVE-FIRE QUALIFICATION

Held at Rancho Magnum Range, Rancho Cucamonga. Course of fire: Students will fire up to 6 rounds per stage at 15, 10, and 7 yards. Students must score 70% or higher on a standard B-27 target with each handgun used for qualification. After successfully passing the shooting qualification, students will receive a completed qualification form.

COMPLETION CERTIFICATE

Digital certificate accepted by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

DOJ-CERTIFIED INSTRUCTION

Taught by USCCA, NRA, and DOJ-certified instructors and an Official USCCA Partner.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which agencies is this accepted by?

Our course satisfies the 16-hour initial and 8-hour renewal training requirements under California Penal Code § 26165. Millennia Defense is accepted by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department for both online and in-person CCW training and is an approved online vendor for Riverside County non-resident CCW training. We are also approved by the Los Angeles Police Department for in-person CCW initial and renewal training, as well as online non-resident CCW training.

Do I have to come in person at any point?

Yes — once. The academic portion is fully online and self-paced. After you complete it, you'll attend one live-fire qualification at Rancho Magnum Range in Rancho Cucamonga.

How long do I have to finish the online portion?

You can start and stop anytime. Most students complete the initial course in 2–4 sessions and the renewal in a single sitting.

What do I need to bring to the range qualification?

Your firearm(s) you wish to list on your CCW (up to 6), at least 50 rounds of ammunition per firearm, hearing and eye protection, and a copy of your course completion certificate.

What if I'm not a Riverside County resident?

Millennia Defense is currently only approved for Riverside County, LAPD, and the State of Arizona. We currently do not host classes for San Bernardino, San Diego or Orange Counties. CCW issuance is county-specific, please contact your issuing department for authorized vendors . If you live out of state, our Non-CA Resident course is the right starting point.
