Terms of service

Terms of Service

Effective date: [Insert publication date]

1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of millenniadefense.com and purchases of training, consulting, digital content, and physical products from Millennia Defense LLC (“Millennia Defense,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Please review these Terms before placing an order or registering for training. When presented with these Terms at checkout or registration, your acceptance forms part of your agreement with us.

Our Refund Policy and applicable course or product terms disclosed before purchase also apply. A separately signed agreement controls if it conflicts with these Terms regarding the services covered by that agreement. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that applicable law does not permit you to waive.

2. Eligibility and Customer Information

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement or have a parent or legal guardian complete the transaction where permitted. Participation by minors requires our prior approval and any required guardian consent.

You agree to provide accurate contact, billing, shipping, and registration information and to safeguard your account credentials. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account use.

Purchasing a course does not establish that you meet its participation requirements. Age restrictions, prerequisites, identification requirements, equipment requirements, and other conditions will be stated in the applicable course information.

3. Orders, Pricing, and Payment

Prices, availability, and descriptions may change before purchase. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other required charges will be disclosed before you complete your order.

You authorize us and our payment providers to collect the amount approved at checkout. Payment schedules for corporate services or private engagements may be established in a separate written agreement.

We may decline or cancel an order for suspected fraud, legal restrictions, unavailable inventory, or a material listing error. If an error affects an existing order, we will notify you and offer a correction for your approval or cancel and refund the affected purchase. We will not increase an agreed price without your consent.

4. Training Registration and Completion

Participants must review the course description and arrive prepared with the required identification, equipment, clothing, and prerequisites.

Certificates, completion records, and qualification documentation depend on satisfying the applicable attendance, participation, testing, and performance requirements. Payment alone does not guarantee successful completion, certification, or qualification.

CCW training does not guarantee permit approval, renewal, reciprocity, or acceptance by a particular licensing authority. The issuing authority makes those decisions. Review the requirements applicable to your intended permit before registering, and contact us if you need clarification about a course.

5. Safety and Participant Conduct

Participants must follow instructor directions, facility rules, and all applicable safety requirements. Alcohol, illegal drugs, impairment, threatening behavior, and unsafe conduct are prohibited.

For firearms training, participants must follow these fundamental safety rules:

  1. Treat every firearm as if it is loaded.

  2. Never point a firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy.

  3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you have decided to fire.

  4. Be sure of your target and what is in front of, around, and beyond it.

Instructors may pause an activity or remove a participant when reasonably necessary to protect safety. Removal from training for unsafe or prohibited conduct does not create an additional right to a refund, credit, or rescheduling, except as required by applicable law.

Training may involve physical exertion, firearms, simulated emergencies, or other risks. A separate participant acknowledgment or waiver may be required before participation. These website Terms do not replace that document.

Contact us before training to discuss accessibility needs or participation concerns.

6. Course Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customer-requested cancellations

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled course start qualify for a full refund of course tuition.

Cancellations made 30 days or less, but more than 48 hours before the scheduled course start, qualify for course credit or rescheduling only. Credits are valid for one year from the originally scheduled course date.

Cancellations made 48 hours or less before the scheduled course start are not eligible for refunds, credits, or rescheduling. No exceptions.

All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to Training@MillenniaDefense.com.

CCW range qualification fees are nonrefundable and separate from course tuition.

Millennia Defense reserves the right to change or amend this policy. Updates apply to purchases made after the revised policy is published.

Cancellations or changes by Millennia Defense

The customer cancellation rules above address customer-requested cancellations and rescheduling.

If Millennia Defense cancels a course or materially changes its date or location and you cannot attend, you may choose an available replacement session or a refund of the affected course tuition. Fees paid for a range qualification canceled by Millennia Defense will be refunded if that service is not provided.

These course cancellation rules do not apply to physical-product returns. Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies required by applicable law.

7. Online Courses and Third-Party Providers

Online courses may require compatible equipment, internet access, an individual account, and completion within a stated access period. Applicable access periods and technical requirements will be disclosed before purchase.

Course access is for the registered participant. Do not share credentials, allow another person to complete your work, or copy or distribute protected course content without permission.

Some offerings link to or are delivered by independent training providers. Their separately disclosed terms govern purchases made directly with them. The applicable listing or checkout will identify the provider and any relevant third-party requirements.

For self-paced courses without a scheduled start date, applicable cancellation and refund conditions must be disclosed before purchase; the scheduled-course deadlines in Section 6 do not establish a cancellation deadline for those purchases.

Contact us if access to a course purchased from Millennia Defense is not delivered or does not function as described.

8. Consulting and Organizational Training

The scope, deliverables, schedule, fees, and client responsibilities for consulting or organizational training will be described in a proposal or service agreement.

Our workplace violence prevention, Active Threat Preparedness, and emergency preparedness services support implementation and help organizations address applicable requirements. They do not guarantee legal compliance, certify an employer as compliant, or prevent every incident.

Clients remain responsible for their operational decisions, workplace policies, implementation, and ongoing compliance obligations. Our services do not replace legal counsel, medical care, or emergency response.

9. Physical Products and Medical Supplies

Use products only for their intended purpose and follow the manufacturer’s instructions, warnings, storage requirements, and expiration dates.

Medical kits and supplies do not replace appropriate training, professional medical care, or emergency services. Purchasing a product does not qualify the purchaser to perform procedures outside their training or legal authority.

Product images are illustrative. We will not make a material substitution to a purchased product or kit without your agreement.

Any manufacturer warranty applies according to its terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Shipping, Delivery, and Product Returns

Available delivery options, charges, and estimated timeframes are provided at checkout or in the product listing. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

If we cannot ship within the stated timeframe—or within the legally required period when no timeframe is stated—we will provide the required notice and offer the applicable choice of consenting to a delay or canceling for a prompt refund.

Contact Sales@MillenniaDefense.com promptly about damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing items. Retain packaging and photographs when practical so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate remedy.

Physical-product returns are governed by the product return terms disclosed before purchase and applicable law. Class cancellation deadlines and the nonrefundable status of CCW range qualification fees do not apply to merchandise.

Nothing in these Terms removes your rights concerning defective goods, inaccurate descriptions, or unfulfilled orders.

11. Website Use and Intellectual Property

Our website content, course materials, graphics, videos, logos, and other original materials belong to Millennia Defense or their respective owners.

You may use purchased materials for their intended personal or authorized organizational purpose. You may not reproduce, resell, publish, or distribute protected materials without written permission, except where permitted by law.

You may not use the website for fraud, unlawful activity, unauthorized access, malware distribution, or interference with its operation.

Nothing in these Terms prohibits honest reviews or other legally protected statements about our products or services.

12. Privacy and Communications

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

We may contact you about your purchase, registration, course changes, delivery, or support requests using the contact details you provide.

Purchasing from us does not by itself constitute consent to marketing text messages. Marketing communications remain subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

13. Disclaimers and Responsibility

Educational content cannot address every situation or guarantee a particular real-world outcome. We do not guarantee uninterrupted website access or that all website content will remain free of errors.

Each party remains responsible for its conduct under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms releases or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, unlawful conduct, or any other responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these Terms waives nonwaivable consumer protections, product warranty rights, or remedies.

14. Disputes and Governing Law

Please contact us first if a concern arises so we can attempt to resolve it. Doing so is not a prerequisite to exercising your legal rights and does not shorten any applicable filing deadline.

California law governs these Terms, subject to applicable federal law and any mandatory protections available under the law of your jurisdiction.

These Terms do not require binding arbitration or waive your right to pursue an available claim in small claims court or another court with jurisdiction.

15. Updates and Severability

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Updates apply to purchases made after the revised Terms are published and do not retroactively change an existing purchase or dispute without a legally valid agreement.

Where required, we will provide notice and request acceptance of material changes.

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
