Stop the Bleed

Overview

This course is designed to understand and practice Bleeding control (Tourniquet Application/Staging, and wound packing). Students will also learn how to build an IFAK. Upon successful completion of this course students will earn a Stop the Bleed Certification.

Why Stop the Bleed Training Matters

Severe bleeding is one of the leading causes of preventable death in trauma situations. • Limited Access to Experienced Instructors: Free programs may be led by volunteers or instructors with limited real-world experience.
• Less Hands-On Practice: Due to large class sizes or limited resources, participants may not get adequate hands-on practice, which is crucial for building confidence and skill
