Expand your firearm knowledge and complete the training required to apply for Arizona and Florida concealed carry permits.
This course covers firearm safety, responsible concealed carry practices, applicable state and federal firearm laws, prohibited locations, lawful self-defense considerations, and the Arizona and Florida application processes.
Why Obtain Arizona and Florida Permits?
Arizona and Florida allow eligible nonresidents to apply for concealed carry permits or licenses. These permits may provide additional recognition in states that honor Arizona or Florida permits.
Reciprocity laws vary. Some states only recognize permits issued to residents of the issuing state. Permit holders must verify the current laws of each state before carrying or traveling with a firearm.
Course Includes
- Firearm safety and responsible concealed carry practices
- Arizona concealed weapons laws and permit requirements
- Florida concealed weapon or firearm laws and licensing requirements
- Federal firearm laws and prohibited-person restrictions
- Legal considerations regarding self-defense and the use of force
- Prohibited and restricted carry locations
- Interstate travel and permit-recognition considerations
- Arizona and Florida application guidance
- Live-fire firearm competency demonstration required for Florida applicants
- Course-completion documentation for eligible students
Florida Fingerprint Requirement
Florida applicants must submit a complete and legible set of fingerprints.
Applicants applying from outside Florida must have their fingerprints taken by a local law enforcement agency, such as a sheriff’s office or police department, and submit the original fingerprint card with their application. Electronic fingerprint copies are not accepted from out-of-state applicants.
Fingerprinting services and related fees are separate from the course. Students should contact the law enforcement agency in advance to confirm availability, required identification, fees, and appointment procedures.
Important Information
Completion of this course does not guarantee that Arizona or Florida will issue a permit. Applicants must submit the required application, fingerprints, fees, supporting documents, and successfully complete the applicable background investigation.
Permit recognition and firearm laws can change. Always verify current requirements with the issuing agency and every state in which you intend to carry.
